🔒 100% Local Data Processing
All operations performed by MarkdownCraft (file uploads, merging, editing, previewing, downloading) happen entirely inside your browser. None of your files or their content are ever uploaded to any external server.
📁 Where is your data stored?
The application uses the browser’s localStorage to save:
- Content you write in the editor (auto‑save).
- Content transferred from the merge tool to the editor temporarily.
- Your preferred theme (light/dark) and language settings.
Note: You can clear this data at any time via your browser’s developer tools or site settings (clear site data).
📊 Analytics and tracking
MarkdownCraft does not use any analytics services, does not track your behaviour, and does not send any statistics. There are no third‑party cookies.
🌐 External libraries (CDN)
Some libraries are loaded from content delivery networks such as Google Fonts, FontAwesome, and Cloudflare. These networks may collect IP addresses as a standard practice, but we have no control over their policies.
🗑️ Deleting your data
- Close the tab (nothing new will be saved).
- Manually clear localStorage: Developer Tools → F12 → Application → Local Storage.
- Use the "Clear" button on the main page.
